Selsey Bill and Church Norton

I took a trip down to the manhood peninsula hopeful to find a Slavonian Grebe for the year list, but after a look at the sea from both Selsey Bill and Church Norton, the best I could manage was a few Red-throated Divers, a Red-breasted Merganser, a Guillemot, a Brent Goose and a few Mediterranean Gulls. At Church Norton a few hundred Dunlin swirled around over the sea, and on the mudflats were good numbers of Knot. With the mournful calls of Grey Plover in the distance I walked halfway along Chuch Norton spit, but the water was very low and there was little of note.
