Amberley Wildbrooks

Much fewer birds around at Amberley this evening in the 26 degree heat. There were a few Spotted Flycatchers around, however, with 2 around the wood at Ham Corner and another with a passerine flock at the back of the wet wood. The flock also contained a Willow Warlber, a Blackcap, and a couple of Chaffinches. Other notable sightings were Kingfisher, a Grey Wagtail again, 2 Ravens, a Hobby, and a big flock of Swallows that filtered through low over the brooks going SE at quite a pace. There were loads of white-type butterflies around.
