Old Moor, South Yorkshire

I was staying in Rotherham for the night to attend a water safety training course with work the following day, and I was delighted to learn that I had been booked a room at a hotel just a few minutes from RSPB's Old Moor reserve. On Wath Ings I saw the earlier reported Spoonbill, but there was no sign of a Spotted Redshank seen yesterday. A few Green Sandpipers were around and a flock of c30 Sand Martins came through. Other highlights were Common Sandpiper and Little Grebe.
