Hail's View and Amberley Wildbrooks

Hail's View was pretty quiet and there's still too much high vegetation for views of the pool. I could hear Greenshank, Green Sandpiper and Snipe but only managed brief views of the Greenshank. A flyover Yellow Wagtail was the only other bird of note.

Amberley was a bit more lively. A Willow Warbler and Lesser Whitethroat were in with a passerine flock, and on the other side of the wet wood looking towards Rackham the White-tailed Eagle was in its favoured tree. Closer in, but on the same line a group of 5 Whinchat were swaying on the thistle. There seemed to be a lot of Kestrels around with at least 3 recorded. They appeared to be everywhere so it was difficult to get an accurate count. A Yellow Wagtail was heard.
