Amberley Wildbrooks

Just 35 species on the list this morning at Amberley, and no signs of any migration, except perhaps a lack of any migrants. The heat waves has helped to dry things out with the grass now a parched yellow and the paths nearly dry. Highlights were 3 House Martins over the village, a fledgling Stonechat, 3 Green Woodpeckers presumably some juvenile, and a Kestrel. No sign of the White-tailed Eagle on its tree and still no Hobby here for me this year!
