Amberley Wildbrooks

There wasn't much change at Amberley this morning with all the usual accounted for and busy defending territory, plus a flyover Raven. However, 4 Lapwing were on the northwest side and looked to be defending territory as they all flew up to see off the Crows as they went by. There was a lot of splashing around the margins of the ditches near to the sluices which appeared to be fish spawning. The water was too dirty to see, but based on brief views when they broke the surface they were large fish and possibly Chub.
