Storrington and Chantry
This morning as I was sipping my coffee a burst of Willow Warbler song from the back garden was a nice surprise. It sang once more and wasn't heard again, and I didn't spot the bird. This evening I had a quick look around at Chantry Hill and found my first Corn Bunting of the year. There were lots of Linnets around with a flock of C30 near the carpark. Singing Skylark and Meadow Pipits were also in good numbers, and there were one or two Yellowhammers around. Generally quiet though.
