Pulborough Brooks

It was a loop around a frosty Pulborough Brooks this morning with Matt and later joined at The Hangar by Pete and Alice. I recorded 50 species. There was no sign of the Bewick's at dawn, and no Merlin or Peregrine were spotted on the mid or south brooks, although Pete and Alice had a Peregrine later on. Matt called out a Barn Owl which I just got a glimpse of before it went out of sight. On the south brooks the highlights were a Ruff, a flyover Goosander (new for the year for me, and later seen on the north brooks by Matt) and c1000 Black-tailed Godwits. The feeders by the yurt were busy and of note here were Coal Tit, Marsh Tit and Nuthatch.
