Bignor Hill and Waltham Brooks

Another quiet trip at Bignor Hill this evening, with a south westerly wind picking up a bit but still some spells of warm sunshine. Best birds were at least 2 Redstarts (3 sightings but 2 I couldn't be confident were different birds) a Marsh Tit, a couple of House Martins and a noisy Raven.

At Waltham Brooks, a bizarre sight of 40+ people sitting on the reserve who I was told later were a group of classic car enthusiasts. Wader numbers today were at least 8 Snipe, at least 4 Green Sandpipers (I heard many more), 3 Black-tailed Godwits now and the Greenshank still.

7 Snipe
