Pulborough Brooks
It was a relatively quiet morning at Pulborough Brooks this morning, where there still isn't much solid ground above water over the brooks. Star appearance was a Barn Owl hunting around redstart corner, allowing for some really close views and good photos. Lapwings were displaying and the Redshank were being noisy. I counted at least 7 singing Chiffchaffs around the reserve. The Great Crested Grebe, a bit of a rarity at Pulborough Brooks, was still around on the north brooks.
