Warnham LNR
I made a quick lunchtime visit to Warnham LNR. There were many gulls - mostly Black-headed Gulls and Herring Gulls - standing on the frozen lake. Highlights were 5 Snipe close in, about 12 Tufted Ducks, 3 Pochard tucked into the reeds, and a Marsh Tit at the new hide. Chatting brielfy to a regular I was told the Marsh Tit is a new visitor following the creation of the new hide. They were seldom seen at the feeders of the old hide. This one only approaches the feeders from the right-hand side apparently!
