I met Corina and Jay for an early afternoon walk up to Leith Hill Tower where we sat and enjoyed the fantastic views. Birds were quiet, probably due to the number of people around, but I did catch the sound of a Meadow Pipit going over. There was probably 100 House Martins moving through, and as we sat resting on a bench halfway up the hill, a small bird was flitting about in the holly with a bright orange mohican and white eyes stripes; a Firecrest. A Coal Tit also showed briefly in the same spot.
