There was a noticeable lack of chats around at Bignor Hill this evening; not a single Wheatear or Whinchat was seen. There were still plenty of Spotted Flycatchers and Redstarts to be seen, though, with seven and five recorded, respectively. Also noted was a single Marsh Tit (although there were more, I'm just not confident with their call yet), one or two Whitethroats, and the 2 Ravens were perched up on the masts.
I also spotted what I think is a first winter Stonechat, but as I'm not familiar with this plumage I'm not confident enough to call it. Pictures below.
