Pulborough Brooks

With the strong winds continuing this evening passerine activity was low. However, wader numbers were reasonable with 2 Dunlin, 8 Green Sandpiper, 4 Little Ringed Plover, and the long-staying Wood Sandpiper (if it’s the same one!). Geese numbers are increasing with c130 Greylag and c50 Canada Geese. There were a few hirundines coming through, and a few Swifts. A couple of Swallows briefly mobbed a Kestrel that perched at the hanger.
